A safer choice
Products you can use with peace of mind, even when the children are running around you in the kitchen.
We are not going to tell you that a cleaning product is good for the planet. What we can tell you, precisely, is what we put in our bottles, and what we refuse to put in them.
Products you can use with peace of mind, even when the children are running around you in the kitchen.
Ingredients of natural origin and packaging that is recycled or recyclable. The right choice, with no extra effort on your part.
Natural does not mean weak. Our formulas are tested until they get the better of the blockage, the limescale or the grease.
A good share of our products carry the Ecocert label. It is not us saying so: an independent body comes and checks.
If your house is connected to the mains sewer, whatever you pour away goes to a treatment plant. If you have a septic tank, there is no treatment plant: the tank is the treatment plant. Bacteria digest the sludge, and a conventional caustic soda drain unblocker kills them in a single dose.
The result: the following month, the tank works less well. The odours come back, the water drains more slowly, and out comes the unblocker again. That is the vicious circle our formulas set out to break.
The same goes for your garden if you water it with rainwater, and for the groundwater if you have a well.
On its own, not much: the word is not regulated. What can be verified is the Ecocert label for detergents, which requires a minimum percentage of ingredients of natural or mineral origin and bans a list of substances. Trust the label, not the adjective, and that includes us.
No, and we would rather say so. The label covers our DIY ingredients, our cleaners and our caustic soda drain unblockers. Other products, in particular the septic tank activators, fall outside the standard. The Ecocert logo appears on the products concerned, and only on those.
A cleaning product is still a chemical product. Our formulas are designed to be less harsh, not harmless: follow the dosages, keep bottles out of reach of children, and if a product is swallowed, call the Poison Centre on +32 70 245 245.
For everyday cleaning, a baking soda and vinegar recipe does the job very well, and we publish ours in the tips section. For a blocked septic tank or a stubborn clog, you need a properly dosed formulation. We sell both: the raw ingredients and the finished products.
